See and Treat procedures are performed exclusively in our rooms under local anaesthetic only, without sedation or general anaesthesia.
As a result, these services are generally most suitable for adults and mature minors who are comfortable undergoing procedures while awake.
Parents and guardians are asked to carefully consider whether a procedure performed under local anaesthetic is appropriate for their child’s age, maturity, and psychological readiness.
To ensure your child’s comfort, safety, and suitability, Dr Jill Tomlinson requires all paediatric patients to attend an initial face-to-face consultation prior to booking any See and Treat procedure at a later date.
This approach helps avoid potentially distressing situations where a child may not be emotionally prepared or psychologically suited to undergoing a procedure under local anaesthetic.

After receiving your fee estimate, you can decide whether you would like to proceed with a telehealth consultation. This appointment allows Dr Tomlinson to confirm the treatment plan, answer your questions, and ensure appropriate planning before any procedure.
